We are currently assisting multiple families and want you to know who they are. Each family has a fundraising link to allow donors to contribute directly to the family they prefer. If you want to donate to our general building fund, please click the button bellow.
Through partnering with our organization you're helping many!
These families have received coordination care or assistance with demolition/rebuild. Services are dependent on needs, volunteers and available resources. 100% of the funds raised through family links is invested in the family's home.
This family received approximately $28,000 in FEMA funds. The home was completely submerged with approximately 4' of water in their home. The home has been gutted & is currently in the rebuild process. Grant money has been received from East Tennessee Foundation. HNDS & FT has dedicated approximately 2500 volunteer hours since mid-January. The family is still in need of countertops & flooring.
This family was devastated by Hurricane Helene knocking their home off it's foundation. They not only lost their home & all possessions but also many tools for heir business. They have received great support from AidNet & CARES to dry in their home. We are working alongside the family and AidNet to supply building materials and volunteer hours. We have a desperate need to hire a plumber & electrician to move forward.
This family lives along the Nolichucky River in Erwin, TN. When the Chestoa Bridge washed away it caused the flood waters to rise over the road. The water rushed into the newly rehabbed bungalow causing destruction to wiring, siding, flooring and fixtures. Now it's time to finish up the project and we're almost at goal! We need an electrician & various items to finish. Will you help us?
Bean Trees Cafe and Bean Sprout Coffee Shop are both woman owned and operated. They sit along the Pigeon River and was directly impacted. The Coffee Shop has reopened; however, still needs a commercial refrigerator. The cafe needs all new decking, equipment and misc. items to reopen. The owner was dedicated to hurricane relief & did not think of her own needs during the months following the hurricane. Let's rally together and get the cafe back open.
Thank you for your generous support through volunteer efforts and financial contributions.
